I agree. Let everyone do whatever they want. Why
don't you just spend the $10 U.S. dollars and
get a straight baffle free slash-cut single wall
chrome pipe from pep boys or whatever and clamp
it on and use an exhaust repair kit to seal up
the leak and put a cool heat shield where the pipe
meets the head pipe. It will still sound nearly
the same if not better and you'll possibly have
better performance. Plus if you want to quiet it
down, you can make or buy a cheap louvered baffle
and shove it up your pipe hole.
